Institut Fandi is a private, accredited esthetics and beauty school based in Morocco. Our mission is to train the next generation of beauty professionals — equipping them with the technical expertise, business acumen, and professional confidence to thrive in Morocco and abroad.
Our Story
Founded in Agadir in 1991 by Ikram Mourtaday, Institut Fandi has trained more than thirty generations of beauty professionals across three decades. What began as a single esthetics school has become one of Morocco's most respected names in beauty education — earning state qualification, national awards, and official accreditation along the way. In 2026, that legacy went global with the launch of e-lumy, our digital academy bringing Fandi's training to students worldwide.

Institut Fandi opens
The school officially opens its doors in Agadir, welcoming its very first students under founder Ikram Mourtaday.
- 2004
Professional Qualification Certificate
Institut Fandi earns its Professional Qualification Certificate from the Moroccan Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training.
- 2005
First prize & national recognition
The institute wins first prize at the 21st national esthetics-school competition, and its founder becomes president of the ARRACHAD association.
- 2010
Official accreditation
The institute receives official accreditation for its programmes and begins awarding a state-accredited diploma to its graduates.
- 2022
Continuing-education expansion
Fandi broadens its reach with a certified continuing-education programme, extending top-tier training to working professionals.
- 2026
e-lumy — the digital academy
Institut Fandi launches e-lumy, its first digital academy for the beauty professions — bringing its training to students across the world.
